- Quality Assurance Chemist at Remidex Pharma Pvt Ltd., Bangalore for about 3 years, Was part of - In process inspection, Validation, QC inspection and Documentation team. 1998 to 2001.
- Lecturer at KLE College of Pharmacy, Bangalore for one year, 2003-2004.
Research Interests
- Working in the field of "Medicinal chemistry".
- Specially, on computer aided drug design techniques, organic/heterocyclic synthesis, analysis and biological evaluation of new molecules for various targets such as HIV, cancer, tuberculosis and diabetes.
- Currently, we are working on development of newer and safer glitazones for their antihyperglycemic activity.

- ("Award Citation" from Govt College of Pharmacy, Bangalore, for securing highest marks in the M.Pharm.
- Qualified in "GATE 2000".
- Developed PTSA as an efficient catalyst for synthesizing some novel Biginelli dihydropyrimidines.
- Elucidated mechanism for the some of the reactions and published all three of them in Journal of Heterocyclic Chemistry.
- Filed a patent titled "Thiazolidinediones and process thereof.." in the year 2006 and got published in Gazette of India-2008.
- Some of my students are perusing their masters at some of the prestigious universities in USA and Australia. Published more than 20 research articles in various national and international journals
