Equivalence of Phytopharmacy and Phytomedicine with Pharmacognosy

PCI issued equivalency certificate for faculties of Phytopharmacy and Phytomedicine for teaching B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy course of Pharmacognosy subjects.

Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, has approved M.Pharm., Phytopharmacy and Phytomedicine specialization as equivalent to M.Pharm., Pharmacognosy.  The students who successfully completed the course of Phytopharmacy and Phytomedicine shall be eligible to teach Pharmacognosy and related subjects in B.Pharmacy and M.Pharmacy courses in the pharmacy and other institutions affiliated to various universities in India.  They are also eligible to guide Undergraduate and Postgraduate students for their dissertations work.  This is applicable to all the students who have passed out earlier placed in well reputed pharmacy institutions and research laboratories across India.
