The Department of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology keeps its vision to be a nodal centre for Animal Tissue culture technology development for Biopharmaceutical Products by the Year 2015.

Mission :
The Department of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology has the mission to equip the pharmacy students with adequate theoretical and practical knowledge in Industrial microbiology, Bioprocess technology, Animal Tissue Culture and other modern molecular biotechnology techniques like Cloning, Sequencing,Hybridoma etc. to make them employable in the Pharma Biotech Companies.
