CAREER AWARD FOR YOUNG TEACHERS

Mr. N. Jawahar, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty, Tamilnadu (Off Campus, JSS University, Mysore) has been received the prestigious “Career Award for Young Teachers-2012” (CAYT) from All India Council For Technical Education(AICTE), a statutory body of the Government of India, New Delhi, encourages young teachers who are actively involved in Academic research. This award offered Rs. 1.05 lakh as research grant for the period of three years for his research work entitled ““Improving the Delivery of Poorly Soluble Drugs through Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology”. He is thankful to his principal Dr.K.Elango and fellow colleagues, JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty and JSS University, Mysore for their encouragement and support.

TONY B. ACADEMIC TRAVEL AWARD WINNER

Mr. N. Jawahar, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty, Tamilnadu (Off Campus, JSS University, Mysore) has participated and presented research paper entitled “Design and Evaluation of Solid Lipid Nanoparticles Containing Olanzapine for Brain Targeted Drug Delivery “during 12th – 16th January 2013 in 2nd Annual Conference and Exhibition SLAS-2013 held at ORLANDO,FL,USA. For the same, he has been awarded with “TONY B. ACADEMIC TRAVEL AWARD” which funded to the Awardee for full travel, accommodation and free registration for the full conference and a Short Course on “Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics in Drug Discovery”. During the conference, he has interacted with eminent Pharmaceutical Scientists and educationalists from other countries. He is thankful to his principal Dr.K.Elango and fellow colleagues, JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty and JSS University, Mysore for their encouragement and support.
