The Center for Advanced Drug Research and Testing (CADRAT), under the aegis of J.S.S. Consultancy Trust, is functioning in the college to make effective use of the expertise and facilities available with the institution to the Government, public and private bodies in pursuit of advancement of pharmaceutical sciences and research.

Approvals:

• The college has been approved by the Director of Drugs Control, Government of Tamilnadu for testing drugs and cosmetics and the raw materials used in the manufacture thereof on behalf of the latencies for manufacture and sale of drugs ans cosmetics.
• The CADRAT has been approved by the Drugs Controller General of India, Government of India for carrying out bioavailability and bioequivalence of new drugs.

Drug Quality Testing Laboratory

The laboratory has been functioning since 1995, the laboratory is approved for testing drugs for both pre and post marketing by,

• Tamilnadu Medical Services Corporation (TNMSC), Government of Tamil Nadu.
• Andhra Pradesh Heatlh, Medical, Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation (APHMHIDC), Government of Andhra Pradesh.
• Quality Consultancy Services (QCS) on behalf of Government of Nigeria.
